Robberies Hillfields

Good afternoon all,

Over the past couple of weeks we have seen an increase of reports around local shops within Hillfields being the victims of knifepoint robberies.

Following this, extensive work was completed to identify the suspect and capturing best evidence led by DS Morris CID Team, Coventry LPA.

Two days ago, PC Partridge and PCSO Petrosino from the Hillfields neighbourhood team spotted the suspect while out on patrol. This led to the arrest of a person for multiple counts of robbery, possession of a bladed article and possession of Class A. Due to the seriousness of the offences, the offender was charged for offences and remanded in prison until his court hearing.
